How do our
spirits make contact?
Not everyone ‘ sees spirit’, sometimes we perceive the spirits of our loved ones in very different ways. Sometimes it simply the thought of that person that pops into a mind every now and again. Sometimes it's a dream it is very vivid, in which you may feel that you can almost reach out and touch the beloved person. And sometimes it is like a breath of wind or a light touch on your hair, or on your face.
People sometimes say that when they going to trance or deep meditation in an
attempt to
contact spirit, they feel as if there is a very fine cobweb that
being placed over their face.
Whilst this can indeed be spirit contact of a kind, it may not be one specific spirit that is trying to make contact with them, but simply that they are making themselves available to contact generally.
The best way to attract/connect with someone specifically, is to clear the mind and sit in a comfortable space, and go into a light meditation… Bring a picture of the person to your mind… remember them as you saw them in life, when they were in for health and very vigorous! Spirits often like to connect to themselves in this state and they will often appear to you in for health rather than in sickness even if this is the way that they passed over.
When you have done this, you are emotionally opening the door and letting it be known that you would like to have contact with this person. Your answer may come in an unexpected way… it may feel as if someone is very lightly brushing your hair, or you may even feel a light kiss on the cheek!
Ssometimes it will be a voice, perhaps even a single word but in a voice that is well known and beloved to you.
Be aware that sometimes this is all the spirit can manage at that time, and that it takes quite an effort to break through into our world to make contact at all, especially for a spirit who has passed over quite recently (within the past 3/4 years)
What I often recommend is that you think of the person last thing, before you go to sleep at night. Thus opening the door in a very positive way. If then the person who you are trying to contact is able to come through to you, they will mostly do so via a dream and may even give you their message in a dream-form.
However... our passed over loved-ones are often with us even though we are not aware of them, and sometimes we will simply have a feeling of their ‘ presence’ around us
