What is psychic ability?
People are often confused about this, and think that it is something that makes some people very different from others.
This could be further from the truth! If there is such a thing is psychic ability, then we all have it! It is simply a matter of degree…
Look at it this way.
Some children when
very small seem to be able to simply get on a bicycle (or tricycle) and ride it
after very little practice or direction.
We think they have especially good balance and are just ‘ good at that sort of thing’
Another child will take ages and will end up black and blue and bruised before it actually matters the art of getting on the bike and riding it!
And its parents will probably assumed that it is just ‘ naturally a little clumsy’ and leave it at that.
The truth is that
some of us are better at getting to grip with things
than others, and we all
shine in different areas, all of us are talented or gifted in some direction,
and will find that direction the easiest to peruse.
The same can be said of psychic ability. Although this is something that we are all born with, not everyone is completely connected to it, some people seem to be ‘ natural psychics’ And at a very early age have experiences that lead them, and people around them to believe that this is so.
But we are in fact all natural psychics, however for some of us it is a little more difficult and we need to practice a bit more, and to put ourselves in the best possible situation to make the most of these abilities.
In a matter how psychic (or un-psychic!) You believe that you are, test this out by assuming that you do have abilities, as we all do, and that you simply need to draw them out.
There are many wonderful books that will help you in this quest, some of the most reasonably priced are by a guy called Ted Andrews, who has written little books about all aspects of psychic development that are easy to follow and no-nonsense. They make a good starting point If you try some of the things that he suggests, or follow the information in any good book about this subject, you were very quickly come to see that you do in fact have skills and gifts of your own.
…after that you may choose to learn more by joining a Psychic Development Workshop or similar.
Anything that you choose to do you need to practice.
Anything that you put your heart and soul into, you will ultimately do well at.
Be assured that we all have very similar abilities in fact, it simply take some of is a little longer to connect about, and some of us have to try a little harder to excel at it.
